Botanical garden concept

In the International Botanical Conservation Association (BGCI), a botanical garden is defined as an institution that records and stores living plants as documents and collections for the purpose of scientific research, conservation, exhibition, and education.

There is a difference in that, an arboretum centers on trees while a botanical garden centers on all plants, but there is no difference in function, so the trend is to use the same concept for both.

Unlike similar facilities such as parks and private gardens, botanical gardens collect and display plants with clear sources to discriminate in that they conduct various research and education.
