From ferocious cats to furry cuddly friends
The Predatory Hall features carnivorous animals of varying sizes, from large cats like the Siberian tiger, symbolizing courage, dignity and strength, the largest of the tiger subspecies that once ranged throughout the Asian continent and the critically endangered leopard, with golden, spotted bodies and graceful, yet ferocious hunting techniques; to smaller animals, such as the cuddly Eurasian otter native to Korea and the yellow-throated marten with a tail more than half its body length and brightly colored fur around the neck.
In Carnivore Enclosure, animals ? the tiger, the leopard, the Eurasian otter, the yellow-throated martens, the Eurasian badger, the Eurasian lynx ? are separately housed in the environment most similar to the natural habit of each animal species.
The house also introduces the reality of our natural environment where animals disappear to extinction and the importance of critically endangered species and animals native to Korea.
